Description
This cocktail is comprised of a homemade rosemary simple syrup, whiskey and my favorite: hard apple cider! I think hard apple cider is an amazing secret weapon when making fall cocktails!
Ingredients
12 Ounces of whiskey
1 Cup of rosemary simple syrup
8 Large ice block cubes
Sparkling apple cider or hard apple cider
For garnish: rosemary sprig, apple slices
Instructions
Fill shaker with whiskey, rosemary simple syrup and ice. Shake for 30 seconds. Pour whiskey mixture evenly into 8 whiskey glasses.
Place a large ice block into each glass. Top each cocktail with a splash of sparkling apple cider. Garnish with rosemary sprig and apple slices.
Notes
To make rosemary simple syrup, bring 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar to a simmer. Remove from heat and add in three 5-inch rosemary sprigs. Steep for 20 minutes and strain mixture into a jar.
