Fig and Proscuitto Crostini

Description

These crostini only take a few simple ingredients and bring out an amazing sweet and salty flavor combo! My favorite part is the cranberry walnut bread! Check our your favorite grocery stores bakery for a fresh-seedy bread to help add more flavors to this crostini.

Ingredients

Scale

8 Slices of cranberry walnut bread or seedy bread
Olive oil
1 ½ Cups of ricotta cheese
Flaky sea salt
68 Figs, thinly sliced
8 Prosciutto slices
Honey

Fresh thyme sprigs

Instructions

Brush bread slices with a thin layer of olive oil and toast lightly until golden brown.

Spread a thin, even layer of ricotta cheese onto crostini. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

Evenly arrange fig slices and prosciutto onto crostini. Sprinkle with fresh thyme sprigs and drizzle with honey.

Notes

If figs are no longer in season substitute with pears or apple slices.
