Here is a Cucumber Martini recipe that will have you swooning after the first sip! It’s an irresistibly cooling cocktail made with only 5 ingredients to enjoy all spring and summer long!

Ingredients

Scale

3 thick (1 ½ inch) cucumber slices

Ice

2 ounces vodka or gin

½ ounce dry vermouth

½ ounce fresh lime juice

½ tsp simple syrup, optional

Cucumber ribbon, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Muddle cucumber: In a cocktail shaker muddle together the cucumber slices until the juices have released and they are smashed.
  2. Shake: Add ice, vodka or gin, vermouth, lime juice, and simple syrup, if using. Shake for 30 seconds and strain into a martini glass.
  3. Garnish: With a vegetable peeler, peel the cucumber at a horizontal angle to create a cucumber ribbon. Garnish martini glass and enjoy!

Notes

How to muddle cucumber: Slice into 1 1/2 inch thick slices and place in the bottom of your cocktail shaker (no need to peel or remove the seeds!). Muddle with a muddler or small wooden rolling pin until the juices release and they look smashed.
