Description

Say hello to spooky with this Halloween charcuterie board! This fun halloween appetizer is perfect when you want something that is equally edible as it is festive. This meat and cheese board is made with strategic regular ingredients with Halloween themed food in mind, I mean, who doesn’t love a bleeding jam goat cheese?!

Ingredients

Scale

1 (6oz) Roth Cheese Original Grand Cru, sliced

4 oz Roth Jalapeno Havarti, sliced

4 oz log Roth Plain Chèvre goat cheese

3 oz calabrese salame, prosciutto, or capocollo (or a blend!)

Blackberries

Pomegranates

Sweet Saphire Grapes

Persimmons

Dark Chocolate squares

Dried Cherries

Fig and Olive Crisps

Raspberry jam (for goat cheese bleed)

Instructions

  1. Arrange Roth Cheese Original Grand Cru slices, Roth Jalapeno Havarti slices and Roth Plain Chevre Goat Cheese in three different sections of a dark wood or black cheeseboard.
  2. Fold, roll or make triangles with your cured meat selections next to each pile of cheese. Begin to fill in the board with Black berries, pomegranate chards (the juicier/bloodier) the better, sweet saphire grapes, and persimmons in large gaps. Use the dark chocolate squares, fig and olive crisps and dried cherries as ‘fillers’ to the board to use up any blank space.
  3. Add a small, organic looking ‘drip’ of raspberry jam to the center of the goat cheese log. This is made to look as if it’s bleeding. Stab the center of the drip with a small sharp knife.
  4. Top the board with plastic spiders, google eyes and arrange spider webbing around the sides.
