White Chocolate Bark

Your oven has been going non stop, you've already ran out of parchment paper and you probably have a substantial amount of flour in your hair. You have achieved your holiday baking look and let me tell you, you look fabulous! Also, if you've ever wondered what a food blogger looks like after a day's work, you have achieved it. There are few days where I can walk out of the kitchen without food in my hair or something foreign spilt on me. This is the not so glamorous side of blogging.

Aside from that I hope that you steered clear from burned cookies and avoided any major spills! If you're looking for a great last minute chocolate bark that isn't peppermint flavored, I've got one for you! This is a white chocolate bark flavored with floral orange zest and topped with pecans and dried cranberries. Happy baking but more importantly HAVE FUN!

White Chocolate Bark

1 Cup of white chocolate chips

1 Heaping teaspoon of orange zest

1/2 Cup of roughly chopped pecans

1/4 Cup of dried cranberries

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Heat white chocolate in 30 second increments in a glass bowl in the microwave. Stir after each 30 seconds, should take about 1.5 minutes to be completely melted. Add in orange zest, stir and spread evenly over parchment paper. Sprinkle pecans and cranberries over melted chocolate and freeze for 15 minutes. Break into small and large pieces.

*Feel free to add in your favorite nuts and dried fruit, the recipe can be totally interchangeable!
